Who needs a fire risk assessment?
The "responsible person" for virtually all non-domestic premises — offices, shops, restaurants, warehouses, care homes, HMOs, schools, and hotels. It is a legal requirement under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
Is a fire risk assessment a legal requirement?
Yes. Article 9 of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 requires the responsible person to carry out a suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment and keep it up to date. Failure to do so is a criminal offence.
How much does a fire risk assessment cost?

How often should a fire risk assessment be reviewed?
At least annually, or sooner when there is a significant change — structural alterations, change of use, new hazards, or after a fire incident. Higher-risk premises may need more frequent reviews.
How long does a fire risk assessment take?
Typically 1 to 4 hours on site depending on size and complexity. Your full report is delivered within 48 hours of the survey.
Are your assessors qualified?
Yes. Our assessors hold NEBOSH qualifications in fire safety and construction. Reports are aligned with RRO 2005, PAS 79, and BS 9999 standards.

What is a RAMS and do you provide them?
